My Media: adding files to sell on your store
Adding files to a collection/album
To Add a File to a Collection on My Media:Collections/Albums go to edit a collection and click the "ADD A FILE" button. A popup screen will appear. Follow these instructions:
1. Choose or browse for the file you would like to upload.
2. Enter the name or title of the file.
3. Enter a price for the file. Please note that any file priced under 69 cents will automatically appear in the collection as "PART OF ALBUM ONLY" and will not be available to purchase separately.
4. Check the Explicit box if ANY of the lyrics in your music, photographs or other types of media are deemed inappropriate for children under the age of 18, or otherwise deemed offensive. ZIPBOX Media does NOT permit the use of its software to sell, publish or distribute pornography of ANY kind. ZIPBOX Media reserves the right to terminate any account at ANY time if this rule is violated.
5. Choose a media type.
6. Choose a genre. You must chose a Main Genre, and if applicable, you can also chose a Sub Genre from the Genre 2 list.
7. Select an Artist from the list of Artists you have already created. If no Arist is available, then you must go back and set up you Artists first.
8. Enter the copyright year, or year and/or affiliate company etc. (ie © 2010, or © 2010 ABC Music).
9. Enter the release date of the collection. If this collection has been previously released to the public, then enter the original release date.
10. Keywords are useful for searches. Enter the keywords that you feel apply to your collection. For example, you may enter the keywords, "holiday" and "Christmas" for a collection of Christmas music.
11. Click the "Rights" buttom. It is important that you own the rights to ANYTHING you sell on your store to avoid service interruption.
12. Click "UPLOAD"
